Eagles have the best offensive line in football according to latest PFF ranking

In their latest ranking, Pro Football Focus ranked all of the offensive lines in the NFL. To no one’s surprise, the Philadelphia Eagles came in at No. 1.

Here’s PFF’s reasoning:

There may not be a single below-average starter along the Eagles’ offensive line. Pair that with arguably the best tackle duo in the NFL, and there’s no debate about which team’s offensive line belongs at No. 1 heading into 2022. Jordan Mailata’s incredible development at left tackle can’t be understated. After not playing a snap in his first two NFL seasons, Mailata went from spot starter at left tackle in 2020 to the third-highest-graded player at the position in the NFL last season.”

2022 NFL offensive line rankings: Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers among Tier 1 teams

I see no lies here.

I know I’m preaching to the choir here, but we all know the Eagles have the best offensive line in football. Not only do they have good to great starters at every position, each position along the offensive line runs three deep. Some of the backups, like Jack Driscoll, Andre Dillard, and even rookie Cam Jurgens, could start for a number of teams around the league.

The Eagles offensive line paved the way for the team’s resurgent rushing attack last season. They were the most valuable position group on the entire team in 2021 and it wasn’t even close.

Howie Roseman has always prided himself in building through the trenches. With his eye for offensive line talent, along with the great coaching from Jeff Stoutland, the Eagles have built the best offensive line in the game today. Even if a starter gets injured, they have capable players to fill in at every spot.

In 2022, expect more of the same from this offensive line unit. If they play at an elite level again, the Eagles offense should be productive.
