Eagles: 3 quarterbacks to consider in the later rounds of the NFL Draft

Although the Eagles used a fifth round pick on a quarterback last season, they may be looking for another one in this year’s draft.

Nat Sudfeld will be back in 2020, but we saw what happened last season when they relied solely on him to be their backup. He got hurt in week 1 of the preseason and ended up getting replaced by 40-year-old Josh McCown as the team’s backup.

The front office tried to get a developmental QB in last year’s draft by taking Clayton Thorson, but that completely backfired as he got cut before the start of the regular season. Using a draft pick on a quarterback again this year is a risk, but one that feels necessary at this point.

Howie neglected to sign a veteran backup during the free agency period, and now he’s almost forced to use another draft pick on another backup QB after doing the same thing just last year. Seems pretty stupid if you ask me, but hey, I’m just a 24-year-old blogger, so what do I know?

Here are three guys who should be on the Eagles radar during the later round of this year’s draft.
