1. 2012-’13
Record: 4-12, last place in the NFC East
I hope you now understand why the first iteration of The Dream Team didn’t take the top spot. This is easily the worst season I’ve experienced in my 24 years of being an Eagles fan.
The four game winning streak to end the season prior gave the fans hope for this year. Perhaps this group of talented players had finally found the chemistry needed to get back into playoff contention.
They got off to a solid start, starting the season 3-1, beating the eventual Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens in the process. After week 4, everything went downhill, and unlike the season prior, the team never recovered or showed any glimmer of hope.
They lost their next eight games, losing by at least two possessions in half of them. They only won one more game in 2012, week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Foles leading the charge.
This season ultimately led to Andy Reid‘s departure from Philly and it marked the end of the greatest era of Eagles football up until that point.
This was the worst I’ve ever seen the Eagles, and I pray it never gets this bad again in my lifetime.
