With this year’s exciting Flyers season coming to an abrupt halt, I’ve had some time to look back on the decade that we just left behind.
The decade began with excitement, including the classic 3-0 comeback against Boston and the Stanley Cup Finals run (Sigh, Michael Leighton). Possibly one of the most entertaining playoff series of the decade included the Flyers, when they met Pittsburgh in the 2012 Eastern Conference Quarterfinal round. Everyone remembers Claude Giroux flooring Sidney Crosby, then cutting in and letting one rip on Marc-Andre Fleury in the opening minutes of Game 6.
That team also had a lot of players that will be mentioned below, as we look back and determine the all-decade Flyers roster from 2010-2020. Forwards only.
